The Story
Sweet Burro celebrates the gentle personality and irresistible charm of one of the Southwest’s most beloved characters.
With her soft expression, long ears, warm desert colors, and turquoise-accented halter, this little burro seems ready to step right out of the Arizona landscape. The bright details and playful heart add a touch of warmth and personality while keeping the spirit of the desert at the center of the painting.
I created Sweet Burro for an upcoming fundraiser benefiting the Kingman Center for the Arts in Kingman, Arizona. The original painting will be part of the fundraiser, while fine art prints allow this sweet burro to find a few more homes.
